Where they are and what you can visit

The San Bernardo archipelago lies off the Gulf of Morrosquillo, south of Cartagena. Its destinations include Múcura, Tintipán, Isla Palma and Santa Cruz del Islote. Part of the archipelago belongs to the Corales del Rosario y de San Bernardo National Natural Park.

Your island and accommodation shape the experience: confirm where you will stay, which facilities you can use and whether visits to other islands are included.

How to reach Múcura and Tintipán

You can travel by boat from Cartagena or approach from the Gulf of Morrosquillo coast. Tolú and Rincón del Mar are departure points for the islands. Compare the road journey, boat transfer and return connection before choosing.

From Cartagena, the estimate of around two hours each way makes it important to check whether the itinerary allows a same-day return. If you want to stay overnight, arrange accommodation and transport as part of the same plan.

Quick answers

How much does a San Bernardo tour cost?

DYK does not yet publish a fixed-price tour page for San Bernardo. Enquire on WhatsApp; the team will confirm whether it can offer a proposal, its price and what is included.

Can I go and return the same day?

It depends on the available departure, route and sea conditions. Around two hours of sailing each way is a reference from Cartagena: confirm the schedule before planning your day.

Múcura or Tintipán?

Both are in the San Bernardo archipelago. Compare the specific accommodation or day pass, available beach or facilities, meals and transport; do not assume one visit includes both.

Is San Bernardo del Viento the same place?

No. San Bernardo del Viento is a town in Córdoba; the San Bernardo Islands are an archipelago off the Gulf of Morrosquillo. Specify Múcura, Tintipán or the islands when requesting information.
